Wi-Fi that reaches every corner, and gear set up right.
UniFi Wi-Fi, networking, computers and licensing for small businesses. We source it, install it, and make sure it actually works.

01Step 1 · Map the building
“The Wi-Fi in the back office keeps dropping on calls.”
Calls drop or video freezes in certain rooms. Before we change anything, we look at where the signal actually reaches, room by room.
02Step 2 · Find the cause
Two access points were fighting over the same channel.
Where their signals overlap, each drowns out the other. That is exactly where the back office desk sits.
03Step 3 · Fix it
Moved one and updated both.
Business-grade access points placed where the building actually needs them, so the back office and the shop floor both get signal.
04Done
“Back office is solid. Thank you!”
Most fixes happen remotely, the same business day. Onsite anywhere in Central Oregon when it needs hands.
Example of a typical fix, handled remotely.
Signs your network needs help
- Calls drop or video freezes in certain rooms
- Everything slows down when the whole team is online
- Large files take forever to save to the server
- The office still runs on a router from a big-box store
- Guests and staff share the same Wi-Fi password
- Someone in the office has a “good spot” for video calls
What we handle
UniFi Wi-Fi
Business-grade access points placed where the building actually needs them, so the back office and the shop floor both get signal.
Wiring and network gear
Ethernet runs, switches and a proper firewall to replace the home router your office has outgrown.
Computers and laptops
The right machines at a fair price, set up with your accounts and software before they reach your desk.
Software and licensing
Microsoft 365 and other licenses sourced, assigned and renewed on time.
Servers
Physical and virtual servers sized for what you really need, and backed up.
Replacement planning
We track warranty and age so you replace equipment on your schedule, not when it dies.
How a Wi-Fi and network project runs
Walk the space
We look at the building, where people actually sit and work, what the walls are made of, and where the internet comes in. Metal buildings, shops and long single-story offices each behave differently.
Find the real bottleneck
Slow Wi-Fi is sometimes the access point, sometimes the internet connection, sometimes one old switch in a closet. We test before we sell anything.
Design and quote
Access point locations, cable runs, firewall and switches, written into a quote you approve before work starts.
Install and tune
Separate networks for staff, guests and devices like cameras and card readers, signal checked room by room, and the passwords and settings documented.
Once it is in, the network can be monitored so a failed device or an internet outage shows up as an alert for us instead of a complaint from your team. If your internet itself keeps dropping, providers vary a lot across the region (TDS, Ziply Fiber, Spectrum, Starlink and fixed wireless), and a second connection with automatic failover is often worth it.
Buying computers without the guesswork
Most small offices buy computers one at a time, when the old one dies, from whatever is on the shelf. That is how you end up with five different models, two versions of Windows and a laptop nobody can log in to. Here is how we handle hardware instead:
- Business models, not retail ones. Business-line laptops and desktops come with longer support, better warranties and Windows Pro, which you need for proper security management.
- Set up before it reaches your desk. Accounts, email, shared files, printers, security software and your line-of-business apps installed and tested.
- Licensing in your name. Microsoft 365 and other software licenses assigned to your business and renewed on time, with the cost listed separately so you see what you pay for.
- Tracked from day one. Model, purchase date and warranty recorded, so replacements get planned in your budget instead of happening in a panic.
- Wiped and retired properly. We can securely wipe or destroy drives before old machines leave, so client data does not leave with them.
Repair, replace or retire?
Usually worth repairing
A newer machine with a failed drive, a bad battery, a cracked screen or a software problem. Parts are cheap compared to a new computer and the setup time it brings.
Usually time to replace
Older machines that are slow on everyday work, out of warranty and needing a costly repair, or that cannot run a supported version of Windows. Paying to fix them buys only a little time.
Time to retire
Anything that cannot get security updates. Consumer extended security updates for Windows 10 end on October 13, 2026, and commercial extended updates are a paid, year-by-year bridge, not a long-term plan.
Moving offices or adding a location
An office move is mostly a networking project with a deadline. We order the internet early, since installation lead times vary by provider and address, plan cabling before the walls close, set up Wi-Fi and the firewall before move-in, and move and test computers, printers and phones so your team starts working on day one. See IT projects and migrations for how bigger projects are scoped and quoted.
Hardware and network questions
Why UniFi?
It is business-grade gear that is manageable from one place, scales from one access point to a whole building, and does not lock you into an expensive license to keep it running. If you already have other equipment that works, we can support it.
Can you just fix the one dead spot?
Often, yes. One or two well-placed access points can fix a problem room. We will tell you if it is a small fix or a bigger issue.
Do we have to buy hardware through you?
No. We can source it for you or set up equipment you buy yourself. We will tell you if a model will cause problems before you order it.
Should guests and staff share the Wi-Fi?
No. Guests, staff, and devices like cameras and payment terminals should be on separate networks, so a visitor's phone or a smart TV cannot reach your files.
Is network monitoring part of a monthly plan?
Yes. Wi-Fi, firewall and switch monitoring is included in our managed IT plans, along with security basics covered on our cybersecurity page.
