How our pricing works

Every business is set up differently, so we don’t post one price that fits nobody. We do promise this: you know the cost before any work starts.

Four ways to work with us

Hourly (break-fix)

Call when something breaks. No commitment. You pay for the time it takes, and we tell you the rate up front.

Fixed-price projects

Migrations, installs, moves and builds. You get a written quote before we start, and that’s the price.

Monthly plans

One flat monthly bill for support, monitoring and upkeep, sized to your office.

Block hours

A monthly block of prepaid hours for priority scheduling on steady work.

What affects the price

  • How many people and computers you have
  • Whether you have a server, firewall or special equipment
  • How much of the work can be done remotely
  • Any compliance needs, like legal, tax or healthcare
  • Whether the work has to happen after hours

Our promises

  • A price or estimate before we start, every time
  • No surprise bills. If a job grows, we call you before continuing
  • Software and licenses like Microsoft 365 listed separately, so you see exactly what you pay for
  • After-hours rates quoted before any after-hours work

Examples

Moving a small office off GoDaddy email

Usually a fixed-price project, done over a weekend.

One room with bad Wi-Fi

Often fixed with one or two access points. A small project, not a monthly plan.

A 10-person office that depends on its computers

Usually a monthly plan, since problems cost more than the plan does.

How monthly plans are priced

Our managed IT plans are a flat monthly fee, priced per user per month. As your team grows or shrinks, the bill follows, and you are not paying for an office of twenty when you have eight. The per-user price depends on the things listed above: your devices, your software, any server or special equipment, and compliance needs. That is why we quote after a conversation instead of posting a number.

What the monthly fee covers

  • Help desk by phone, text, email or ticket, with someone who knows your setup
  • Windows and Mac updates, managed on a schedule
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration: users, mailboxes, licenses, groups
  • Backup monitoring with tested restores
  • Multi-factor sign-in, endpoint protection and phishing training
  • Wi-Fi, firewall and network monitoring
  • Onboarding and offboarding when people join or leave
  • Dealing with your internet provider and software vendors
  • Quarterly planning check-ins, so replacements and renewals are budgeted

What gets quoted separately

Keeping these separate keeps the monthly fee honest. You see exactly what is ongoing support and what is a one-time cost.

Projects

Migrations, office moves, network upgrades, server-to-cloud moves and new-location setups. Each gets a written quote before work starts. See IT projects and migrations.

Hardware and licenses

Computers, Wi-Fi gear, Microsoft 365 and other software, listed on their own lines so you see what you pay the vendor and what you pay us.

After-hours work

Available when you need it, with the rate quoted before we start.

How getting a price works

  1. Free 30-minute consultation

We talk through your office, the problems you are having and what you want fixed. Call, text or book online.

  2. A plain-English list

You get a one-page list of what is fine and what needs fixing, whether or not you hire us.

  3. A quote that matches

A monthly plan, a fixed-price project, or both, written out so you can compare it with what you pay now.

  4. Onboarding

If you go ahead: a discovery call on day one, an audit with a one-page summary in week one, and the transition in week two.

Pricing questions

Why don't you list prices on the website?

Because a price that ignores your setup is a guess. A five-person office with a server and healthcare software needs a different plan from a five-person office that only uses email and shared files. A short conversation gets you a real number.

Is a monthly plan more expensive than calling when something breaks?

For very small offices that rarely have problems, break-fix can cost less, and we will tell you so. For offices that depend on their computers all day, problems and downtime usually cost more than the upkeep that prevents them.

Who counts as a user?

Generally, each person we support. Shared computers, part-time staff and seasonal crews are common in Central Oregon, and we work out a fair count with you during the quote.

What about contracts?

We go over terms with you before you sign anything, and we would rather keep you because it works than because you are locked in.

Do we own our accounts and data?

Yes. Your Microsoft 365 or Google tenant, your domain and your data stay in your name.

We are in the middle of a problem right now. Can you help before we have a plan?

Yes. Text (541) 239-3338 and we will tell you what to do next.
